Good to know: If you need help in any urgent medical situation, do not wait any longer. Simply dial 112 or call for any assistance by local people („prvu pomoc“) or call an ambulance („zavolat zachranku“). Slovak operators at 112 (similar to 911 in the USA) speak english and provide medical assistance until the ambulance arrives.
